Teaching

Finding our home in the world.

Teaching has been a central thread in my life for over three decades. I share nature-based yoga and meditation rooted in compassion, interdependence, and ancient wisdom. These practices help us come home to the breath, the body, and the living world we belong to.

I also offer workshops, retreats, and gatherings where practice, story, and ecological awareness converge. These spaces are meant to nourish the heart, reawaken connection, and honor the shared work of healing and resilience.

Mindful Coexistence: Meditation and Compassion with Animals & Nature

A six-month mindfulness journey in the company of animals at Medicine Horse

Join yoga and meditation teacher Diana Hulet for a monthly 90-minute practice series at Medicine Horse, offered on Sunday mornings from April through September. Guided by Diana’s work as a writer and animal photojournalist, this series invites participants into mindful presence, ethical connection, and compassionate awareness with one another and with the animals and local ecosystems around us.

This program is designed for both new and returning participants, with each month exploring a different facet of mindfulness through practices such as guided and silent meditation, walking meditation, breathwork, gentle mindful movement, and reflective journaling. Participants will have opportunities to spend time with the animals who call Medicine Horse home, whether in the barn, the pasture, or simply side by side in stillness, while exploring themes of interspecies relationship and shared existence.

Sessions will conclude with community reflection, fostering presence, belonging, and a deeper connection to the natural world. All sessions are supported by Medicine Horse staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every participant.

Cost: $35 per person, per session

“The more you realize, the more you realize there is nothing to realize. The idea that there's somewhere we have got to get to, and something we have to attain, is our basic delusion.”
